GANG IN A COMA / 2008
series of four drawings and four paper planes, felt-tip pen on paper, 48 x 34 cm

In this series of four drawings the sign language used by various gangs is modified to re-enact a choreography for four fingers in four steps, which stages a collision between gestures of aggregation and conflict. The drawings are accompanied by as many paper planes made with the pages of an old dictionary, listing words fallen into disuse.
